One of the main difficulties our Judicial clients experience is when a court uses the services of Vodafone Involve for their Videolinks, so we have broken down the process make it as simple and clear as possible
So last week on Election Day we fought our way through the TV crews outside the Houses of Parliament to get to the Modernizing Justice Event at the QE2 Centre. This conference discusses in a number of keynote speeches and also panel discussions the opportunities and challenges of delivering a digital justice system. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase our cloud based and hosted Virtual Court Room services.
So we set up our stand nice and early, just as the best bacon rolls in London were being served. This was our third successive year of attending so we knew the catering would be good and we would need it as it is always a very busy day.
The day was filled with interesting presentations, starting from an interesting insight into polling and statistics, then the Chair’s Opening address started the day off, followed by discussions such as Digital excellence, and integrated justice and then ending the day with a presentation from Serco which also mentioned our joint service for hosting VC links from the prison vans.
The breaks were very busy times with lots of good conversations and interest in our services and approach to the hosting of videoconferencing for virtual court rooms and remote participants. After nearly 20 years serving this area, Eyenetwork is very well known and it seems that most people use our services or have done in the past. So we were able to update them on our service developments with the MOJ, NOMS, CPS and Police providing innovative services, such as virtual waiting rooms, crime report from IPads, and mobile witness links using the 4G mobile network.
All in all a very productive day of meeting old faces and new, and discussing how our Virtual Court Room services, technology and innovation are helping modernize justice. If you would like more information please contact me directly or visit https://www.eyenetwork.com/judicial/
Since its establishment in 1996, Eyenetwork has been providing video services to aid the legal sector for over 2 decades. We have been involved with video and the legal sector from its infancy and we have developed and adjusted along with the progression of technology to offer the best possible service for our clients.
In a world dominated by technology, video conferencing has been and is continuing to develop into one of the most important strategy tools in the modern business world. This creative method of communication enables businesses to connect to professionals globally and save time and money.
Meetings play a key role in the operation of a business or corporation and organising large, long distance meetings is a necessity for all successful companies. Technology has enabled us to join people from different parts of the world into one meeting through video conferencing.
The video communication application Skype has developed and grown into a useful business tool since its initial release in 2003. What started out as a video chat program with a lot of background noise, interruptions and disconnections has experienced continued growth and improvements over the years and has spread on a global scale. It is very popular for personal use and it has excelled in the business world as one of the most recognisable communication tools on the market.
UK Courts are modernising at a fast pace and video is becoming a vital part of the judicial system. Many witnesses travel, have busy lifestyles or are particularly vulnerable, so giving evidence via video presents a useful and simple solution. A lot of courtrooms already have video conferencing equipment installed, but more will be needed in the future with the increasing demand of video evidence and virtual courtrooms.
With technology developing at such a fast pace, any successful business must have up to date audio visual systems. These modern gadgets and devices will help you with presentation sharing, team collaboration and creating meeting room experiences through videoconferencing. Eyenetwork can supply a variety of AV equipment for your serviced office, hotel or corporate office. We offer a full range of options and systems so we can provide you with one that best suits your needs.
